We spend a lot of time up here on the sixth floor of the building at 12 Loudon Street. Most days start early with a lot of phone calls to people in different time zones since we deal with exports. The Elgin area is usually pretty busy, so finding a spot to park in the morning can be a bit of a headache. Inside the office, it is mostly stacks of paperwork and computer screens. We have been at this address for a while now. Some of us have worked together for years, so we just kind of know what needs to be done without talking about it much. It isn't a fancy setup, just some desks, chairs, and a small area where we keep the kettle for tea. When shipments are moving, things get a bit loud and fast, but we manage. Loudon Street has some nice trees outside, though we mostly see them through the windows when we take a break from the spreadsheets. There is no big secret to what we do, we just make sure the goods get from one place to another. Sometimes the internet is slow or a supplier is late, and we just deal with it as it comes. It is a steady job and we try to get things right. Most of the time, the office is just a place where we try to keep things moving. We aren't doing anything flashy, just keeping the books in order and making sure the boxes get where they need to go.
