Phoenix Commodity Export Pvt. Ltd. is located right in the middle of things at No. 13- B Bidhan Sarani. We have our office on the 4th floor of Chanda Plaza. It is a very busy building in a very busy part of the city. We spend a lot of time on the phone dealing with different commodities for export. Because we are on the 4th floor, we get a bit of a view of the street, which is always full of cars and people. The office is pretty small and crowded with files and desks. We don't have any fancy art on the walls or expensive furniture. We just need a place to work and this suits us fine. Bidhan Sarani has its own energy and it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the elevator in Chanda Plaza is slow, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s good exercise, at least that’s what we tell ourselves. We don't really do any big promotions. Most of our business comes from people we have known for years in the export trade. It’s all about building those connections over time. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking details. We’re just a group of people trying to do a good job in a busy city. We take it one shipment at a time and keep moving forward together.
