Ujjwal Haldar Fashion Boutique

This boutique is located at D-50 in Sector 7. It’s a straightforward shop where we spend our days dealing with clothes and tailoring. Ujjwal Haldar Fashion Boutique isn't one of those big malls where everything is pre-packaged. Here, you hear the sound of sewing machines running almost the whole time we are open. There are rolls of fabric leaning against the walls and measuring tapes draped over chairs. We spend a lot of time talking to people about how they want their clothes to fit. It’s often a bit chaotic with scraps of thread on the floor and half-finished garments hanging from the racks. We try to keep it tidy, but when we are busy, the mess just grows. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main markets, which is nice. It lets us focus on the stitching and the details. Usually, we have the radio playing in the background, mostly old songs that everyone knows. We have a small mirror in the corner for fittings, and the lighting is just some basic tubes on the ceiling. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working together. People from around the sector stop by to check on their orders or just to see what new fabrics we’ve brought in. It’s a local place through and through, nothing too fancy, just good honest work with needles and thread.
