Tushar Marbles & Granites

Our shop, Tushar Marbles & Granites, is tucked away at 35/17 on Abhoy Vidyalankar Road. It’s one of those streets that feels like a real neighborhood, where everyone kind of knows what’s going on. We aren't a massive warehouse; we’re more of a local spot where people from nearby can come and pick out stone for their homes. Most days, it’s just me and a helper or two. We spend a lot of time cleaning off the slabs so people can see the real colors, as the city grime tends to settle on everything pretty quick. The road out front can get a bit crowded with parked cars and people walking, so getting a delivery truck in and out is always a bit of a puzzle. We don't have a big marketing department or any of that. If someone needs a piece of granite for a counter or some marble for a small prayer room, they just walk in and we see what we can find in the back. It’s a lot of manual lifting and making sure nothing gets scratched or broken during the move. We’ve been here for a good while and have seen the neighborhood change, but the way we do business stays pretty much the same. We just show you what’s in stock and tell you how much it costs. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one.
