Turn Ur Head is tucked away at P 61, C I T Road in Kankurgachi. We are basically at the backside of VIP Market. It is a handy location because everyone knows the market. Kankurgachi is a great place to be in Kolkata. Our spot at P 61 is where we spend all our hours. It is not a massive space, but it works for us. We do various hair and beauty things here. Most of the people who come in are from the nearby apartments or people finishing their shopping at the market. We do not have a marketing department. We just rely on being in a good spot and doing our daily tasks. The street outside can get pretty packed, especially in the evenings. We have been here long enough to know all the local shops. It feels like a small community even though it is a big city. We just keep things simple. No complicated menus or polished speeches. If you need something done, you just walk in and talk to us. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. Being behind VIP Market is actually quite quiet compared to the front. We like that we have a bit of peace while still being in the heart of Kankurgachi.
