Trade (India) Consortium

You can find us on the second floor of 34 C R Avenue. It’s a busy building in a very busy part of town. Trade (India) Consortium isn’t a massive operation, just a group of us working in a few rooms. We handle various trading tasks and coordinate with different people across the country. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we get our exercise every day. The office is usually filled with the sound of phones ringing and paper shuffling. We don't have any fancy decorations or leather chairs. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We focus on getting the trades sorted out and making sure the numbers match up. C R Avenue is always noisy with traffic, and that sound filters up to us all day long. We’ve gotten used to it by now. We eat our lunch together most days and talk about what needs to be done. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend money on things we don't need. Most of our clients have been with us for a long time because they know how we work. We don't promise anything we can't do. It’s just a steady, daily grind of making sure everything moves along like it's supposed to. It’s not glamorous, but it’s our life. We stay until the last fax is sent and the ledgers are all closed.
