Akak Spat Udyog Pvt. Ltd. is based in an office on the 7th floor of 2, N.C. Dutta Sarani. Most people still call the street Clive Ghat Street, which can be a bit confusing for those who are new to the area. Our office is Room No. 706, so you have to take the elevator all the way up. The building is quite old and has a lot of character, but the stairs can be a real workout if the lift is acting up. From our windows, we can see a bit of the busy streets below. It is always loud and chaotic down there with all the traffic and people moving about. We handle a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. It is a typical office environment where things can get a bit messy with files and ledgers everywhere. We are not into fancy decorations or anything. We just have our desks, chairs, and the equipment we need to do our jobs. Working in this part of the city means we are close to a lot of other businesses, so there is always someone coming or going. Sometimes we grab lunch from the street vendors downstairs when we are too busy to go far. It is a long day usually, but we have a good rhythm going. We have been in this room for a while and it feels like home now. It is just a place where we put in our hours.
