Down at 8 A Ripon Street, you’ll find us working away on shoes. We’re near Nandlal Court and the Mazban Hotel, which is a good landmark because people always get lost looking for us. Ripon Street is always loud and there’s always something going on outside our door. We spend a lot of time looking at leather samples and soles. The floors in here usually have some scrap material or dust on them by the end of the day. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but once you’re here, it’s just a regular workshop and office. We don't have a big showroom or fancy lights. Usually, there’s a pile of boxes waiting to be shipped out to shops. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open, even if the street noise comes in. We’ve been in this part of town for a while and know the local tea stall guys pretty well. Sometimes we have meetings sitting on crates if the chairs are full. It's a practical way to run a shoe business, I guess. We don't worry much about how the place looks as long as the shoes are getting made right. It’s a bit cramped with all the inventory, but we know where everything is. Just an honest day's work in a busy part of the city. We just stay focused on the boots and sandals here.
