Amar Footwear

Amar Footwear is located at 2, New Tangra. This neighborhood has a long history of making shoes and leather goods, so we fit right in. Our building is simple and doesn't have any modern decorations. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the leather and the glue we use for the shoes. We have shelves all over the place filled with boots and shoes in different stages of being finished. The floors are a bit uneven and the paint on the walls is getting old, but that doesn't stop us from getting the work done. We have several machines that make a lot of noise throughout the day, so it can be hard to hear someone talking when they are running. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time, so everyone just knows what to do without being told. We don't have a showroom where you can browse; it is more of a workshop where we fill our orders. The street outside can get quite muddy when it rains, and there is always some kind of loading or unloading going on with the local trucks. It is a neighborhood where people work hard, and we do the same. We focus on making the footwear and getting it shipped out on time. We don't see any reason for the place to look corporate or polished.
