We are located right near the 8B bus stand, which almost everyone in Jadavpur knows about. It’s No. 27 G on Raja S C Mullick Road. Being so close to the university, there is always a lot of energy and people walking by. It is a very busy stretch of road. We've been here for quite a while, and the shop has become a bit of a staple for people living in this part of Kolkata. Dealing with footwear is what we do every day. It is not overly complicated, but it definitely keeps us on our feet. The backroom is usually full of boxes and we are always busy restocking the shelves. People come in, try things on, and we just help them find what they need. It gets especially crowded during the festival seasons or when the students are back in town. We don't have any big corporate speeches to give. We just open up the doors in the morning, sweep the floor, and start the day. The building itself is an older one, which is typical for this area. It has some character, even if it feels a bit cramped when the shop gets busy. Working here, you see all sorts of people coming through. We just try to keep the inventory organized so we can find the right sizes quickly. It is a practical job and we like being part of the local Jadavpur scene. We just do our thing.
