A Safety Shoe Manufacture Co.

Our workshop is located at 42/A/1, Raja Rammohan Roy Road in Kolkata. We make safety shoes here. It is not a big factory with a lot of fancy machines. We have a few old ones that still work fine for what we need. The place is usually full of the smell of leather and glue. We spend most of our time cutting the material and stitching the soles. It is hard work and our hands get pretty dirty by the end of the day. Kolkata is very hot and humid, so we keep the fans running all the time. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make shoes that don't fall apart when someone is working at a construction site. Sometimes the leather shipments are late, and we have to wait around for the truck to show up. We have some regulars who come by to pick up boots for their workers. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people shouting. We have been in this same spot for quite a few years now. We know the neighbors and they know us. There is no showroom here, just the racks where we keep the finished pairs. We just focus on getting the stitching right so the boots last. It is a simple business and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work. We are always here if someone needs a sturdy pair of boots for their job.
