Touch N Glow

Touch N Glow has been around in Rabindra Palli for a good bit of time. We are on the ground floor, so it’s easy for anyone to just step in off the street. Keshtopur is always crowded, especially around the Talbagan area, but inside here it’s a bit quieter. We handle hair, skin, and the usual stuff people ask for when they want to look a bit better. It’s not one of those high-end places you see in the mall. We have a few chairs, some mirrors, and we try to keep the place tidy. The neighbors know us well. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait it out with the customers. It’s just how it is here in Kolkata. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to use a pair of scissors or do a facial. People come in before weddings or just because they need a trim. We listen to the radio while we work. It’s a small space, so you get to know everyone who comes in regularly. We don’t spend money on fancy ads. Most people find us because they live nearby or their friend told them to come here. We just try to make sure nobody leaves feeling unhappy with how they look. It’s a living, and we enjoy being part of the Talbagan community in the 700101 area.
