Big Furniture

Our place is at 8/1B Topsia Road, near the Pervez Shahidi Range. Big Furniture is exactly what it sounds like. We have a lot of tables, chairs, and beds taking up space in our showroom. The air usually smells like sawdust and polish, which you get used to after the first week. It’s a dusty job, honestly. We spend a lot of time moving heavy items around so people can see them better. It’s a physical kind of work. We get customers who want to touch every piece of wood before they decide. We don't mind. We're used to the questions about what's sturdy and what's just for show. The location on Topsia Road stays busy, and we get a lot of trucks coming in and out. It’s not a polished retail experience like the ones in the malls. It’s more of a warehouse vibe where you can see the work happening in the back. Sometimes the heat in the building is a bit much, but we keep the fans going. We just sell furniture that works for real homes. Nothing too fancy, just solid stuff. If you're looking for us, look for the big signs near the range. We’re usually there from morning until late evening, just getting things ready for the next delivery. We've been here for years, and we know our wood better than we know our own neighbors sometimes, which is just how it is.
