New Aristocreat Furniture

New Aristocreat Furniture is tucked away at No. 486 Rai Charan Pal Lane. It’s more of a workshop than a showroom, to be honest. You’ll find piles of wood and the smell of sawdust as soon as you walk in. We’ve been building tables, chairs, and cabinets here for quite some years. It’s a bit cramped with all the projects we have going on at once. We don't use those big factory machines for everything; a lot of it is just done by hand with saws and chisels. It takes longer that way, but that’s just how we learned to do it. Rai Charan Pal Lane is a quiet enough spot for us to get our work done without too much distraction. People find us because they want something that isn't made of plastic or cheap board. We show them the wood we have and we talk about what they need. There aren't any glossy catalogs here, just sketches on scraps of paper and the pieces we are currently working on. Sometimes the varnish takes a while to dry if the weather is damp, so things might take an extra day. We don’t promise miracles, just a solid piece of furniture that does what it’s supposed to. It’s a dusty job, and our clothes are always covered in shavings, but it’s what we know. We enjoy seeing a finished piece leave the shop and head to a new home.
