You can find G C Chandra Co. at No. 16/1 Canal East Road, right next to Sanei Motors in the Maniktala area. The canal is right there, so you get that specific atmosphere of the old city. It’s a very busy part of town with lots of auto shops and commercial places around. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. The office is pretty basic, just a place to sit and handle the accounts and talk to people who stop by. We have a lot of stuff stored around the place because we’ve accumulated things over the years. It’s not the cleanest or most modern office you’ll ever see, but it’s where we do our business. Being beside Sanei Motors makes it easy for people to find us since they are a big landmark. We see a lot of people passing by on their way to the market or the workshops. Our daily routine involves a lot of talking to suppliers and checking on inventory. We don't really have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing we are here at No. 16/1. Sometimes the traffic on Canal East Road gets backed up, which makes it hard to get deliveries in or out, but we’re used to it by now. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if it’s just a small company. We just keep going one day at a time, handling whatever comes our way and keeping the business running as best as we can.
