Our shop is at 22/1/A Sahapur Colony in New Alipore. We are quite close to the New Alipore Triangular Park, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. It’s a small space packed with fabric samples, rolls of wallpaper, and catalogs. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a few people inside at once. We don't have a big fancy showroom with perfectly lit displays. It’s more of a working studio where we sit down with people to look at colors and materials. We help folks with their homes, whether they just need new curtains or want to change a whole room. There’s usually some dust from samples or bits of thread on the floor. We aren't big-time designers with television shows. We’re just local people who know how to put a room together so it feels comfortable. Most of our work comes from people living right here in the colony or nearby. We talk about what works and what doesn't, especially with the local climate and how things wear out. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring to make sure things fit. We keep things pretty informal and honest about what things cost and how long they take to get done. If we are out at a job site, we usually leave a note on the door, but otherwise, we are in here.
