Toppers Unisex Salon

Toppers Unisex Salon is based at 6/1 Sarat Bose Road, which is also known as Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani. We are situated very near the Hindusthan Club. This is a pretty busy part of Kolkata, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We decided to open a unisex place because it seemed easier for families to come in together. We have separate sections for men and women, though the space is all connected. We do everything from simple haircuts to more involved styling. The salon has big mirrors and some decent lighting so we can see what we are doing. We have been at this address for a long time. Some of our customers first came here as kids and now they bring their own children. We do not have any fancy marketing. Most people hear about us from their neighbors. We try to keep the place organized, but on busy days there are towels everywhere and plenty of chatter. We do not use a lot of complicated language when talking about hair. We just ask what you want and try our best to do exactly that. If we think a style will not work with your hair type, we will be honest about it. It saves everyone a lot of trouble later. We just show up every morning, sweep the floor, and get ready for the day. It is just how we work.
