Zehra Fashion

If you are looking for our place, Zehra Fashion is up on the first floor at 29a Tiljala Masjid Bari Lane. We are pretty close to the Swastik Seva Sadan Hospital, so that is a good landmark if you get lost in the narrow lanes. It is a bit cramped in here with all the fabric rolls and sewing machines humming away. Sometimes the heat gets to be a lot, especially in the afternoons, but we just open the windows and keep going. We mostly do stitching and small fashion pieces here. It is a family-run kind of thing where everyone knows their job. We do not have a website or a sales team. People just find us by word of mouth or by walking up the stairs and asking for us. The floor is usually covered in thread and offcuts of cloth by the end of the day. We try to sweep up, but it starts all over again the next morning. It is hard work, and the lighting is not always the best, but we manage to get the orders finished on time. There are always tea breaks where we talk about the news or what is happening in the lane. We have been in this building for some time and the neighbors know us. It is just a regular workshop where we make clothes and try to stay on schedule. We are not doing anything fancy, just sewing.
