Techno Global Hospital

If you know the Lalkuthi area in Barrackpore, you probably know where we are located. Techno Global Hospital sits right on Barasat Road, at number 6. It’s directly opposite the Lalkuthi Telephone Exchange, which is the easiest landmark to give people when they are trying to find us for the first time. The road outside can get a bit loud with the buses and the rickshaws constantly moving past. We have been working out of this building for a good bit of time. The lobby is usually filled with people waiting or talking softly. We don't really have a big corporate setup, it’s mostly just us doing our jobs day in and day out. Sometimes the power flickers when the weather gets bad, but we have the backup generators ready to go. The nurses are always busy with their charts and the doctors move from room to room quite quickly. Lunchtime is when things finally settle down for a few minutes. Most of us bring food from home and sit in the small break room. It’s a practical place. We don't have any shiny posters or expensive art on the walls, just the stuff we need to help people who come through the doors. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, with more shops popping up nearby, but the telephone exchange across the street stays exactly the same. We just keep our heads down and work.
