Technico India Pvt Ltd is located at number 3 B B Ganguly Street, right in the Bowbazar area. We are quite easy to find because we are very close to the Lal Bazar Police Station. Being in this part of the city means we are surrounded by history and a lot of old buildings. Our own place has high ceilings and those thick walls you don’t see much in modern construction. It stays relatively cool inside even when the Kolkata heat is hitting hard outside. The street is always buzzing with people, vendors, and the sound of tram bells occasionally echoing in the distance. Inside the office, things are a bit more quiet, though you can still hear the city through the windows. We’ve got old wooden desks that have probably been here longer than most of the employees. There is a lot of history in the way we do things, following steps that were put in place years ago. We don’t see a need to change things just for the sake of it. The staff here mostly takes the bus or the metro, as parking on B B Ganguly Street is almost impossible most days. We usually have a mid-morning break where someone goes out to grab snacks for the whole group. It’s a very stable environment where everyone knows their role and what is expected of them. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
