Swamy Farm

Swamy Farm is situated at 53/299 on Brigade Road in Haridevpur. It’s an interesting place to be because you have the hustle of the city but we’re trying to run things related to farming. We have a small office there where we handle all the coordination. It’s not a huge farm site right there at that address, obviously, it’s more of our base of operations. The building is a bit older and the stairs creak a little when you walk up. We keep a lot of records and samples in the back room. Most of the time, we are out and about, but this is where the main decisions get made. The staff is small, just a couple of us who have known each other for a long time. We don’t use any corporate jargon. We just talk about the weather, the crops, and how to get things delivered on time. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s completely silent. We like the balance. Haridevpur is a nice area, even if Brigade Road gets a bit jammed up with traffic in the evenings. We’ve been here long enough that the tea stall guy knows exactly what we want when we walk over. We aren't trying to be the biggest business out there, just trying to do our work and keep the farm side of things running from our city office. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s ours. We just keep things moving one day at a time without much fuss.
