You can find us at 15-A, Hemanta Basu Sarani. It’s a busy street, and we’re right there in the thick of it. We are a tea company that focuses on the gardens out in Manipur. It’s a bit different from the usual Assam or Darjeeling stuff people always talk about. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a place where we get the work done. We spend a lot of time talking to the managers at the estates and trying to figure out the transport from that side of the country. It can be tricky because the roads aren't always great and things move slowly. We have a lot of maps and old photos of the gardens on the walls. The tea from there has its own unique taste, and we’ve been working with it for a long time now. There are about six of us here in the office. We drink a lot of tea, naturally. Sometimes we have tea auctions to prepare for, and those weeks are usually pretty stressful and long. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been around for years and people know we handle Manipur tea. It’s a decent place to work, even if the building gets a bit drafty in the winter months. We just keep track of the bags and the shipments and try to be honest with our suppliers and buyers. We just take it one day at a time here.
