Annapurna

You can find us at the Aparajita Apartments, specifically Flat 6 on the 3rd floor. The address is 63A 1 Basudevpur Road in Kolkata. It’s a residential building, so it feels more like a home than a strict office. Annapurna has been running from this flat for a few years now. We have two rooms set up for work, and the rest is just where we keep our supplies. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. The elevator in the building is a bit slow and gets stuck sometimes, so most of us just take the stairs to the third floor anyway. We don't have any big neon signs outside, just a small nameplate on the door so people know they’ve got the right place. Working from an apartment means it’s pretty quiet most of the time, except for the usual sounds of the city coming through the balcony door. We do a lot of our work on the computer and over the phone. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Usually, it's just comfortable clothes while we sort through the daily orders. Sometimes the neighbor's cat wanders into the hallway, which is always a bit of a laugh for us. We like it here because it’s easy to get to and it’s not stuck in some cold, expensive office block. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place for a business.
