Susmita Dairy Products Private Limited is located at Plot No 592 in Dakshin Bahirgachhi. We are basically run by Shankhajit Bhattacharjee and a few others from around the Uttar Para area. It is a dairy business, so we spend our whole lives around milk and cows. There isn't much time for anything else when you have to milk the animals twice a day, every single day. We have been at this for a while now. The village is a good place for a dairy, even if the roads get a bit messy during the monsoon months. We don't have a big store or anything corporate looking. It’s just the plot where we keep everything running as best as we can. Most of our days are spent cleaning, feeding, and making sure the milk stays fresh for everyone. We don't have a marketing department telling us what to say to customers. We just tell people we have milk and they come and get it. It’s a very direct way of doing business without any fuss. Shankhajit is usually around the post office area or at the plot if someone needs to talk to us. We are just a local small business trying to do our job. It’s tiring work and your hands are always busy, but we are used to it by now. We just want to keep the local families supplied and keep our animals healthy and productive.
