Saptasindhu Dairy is located over on West Birnagar Road, right near the Shitala Mandir. If you live in Ward 18, you probably know the area well. Dilip Kumar Das is the one who handles things here. We are just a small dairy outfit trying to keep things running smoothly. Our address at Holding No 360/535 is where all the daily work happens. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical place for the cattle. Every morning starts with the sound of the temple nearby and the cows waking up. We don't have a lot of workers, just a few of us who know the routine. It’s a lot of cleaning and feeding. We don't use any high-tech systems; it's mostly just manual labor and paying attention to the animals. Sometimes the mud gets bad during the monsoon, and it makes everything twice as hard. But we just deal with it. People in the neighborhood know us as the local dairy guys. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We just want to do our job and go home at the end of the day. The location is convenient for the locals, and being near the Mandir makes it feel like home. It’s a simple life centered around the needs of the herd. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, without much fuss. We aren't looking to change much about how we operate, as long as the work gets done correctly for everyone around us.
