We are located at 57 D B Road in the Alambazar area. It’s a busy spot, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been running this place for a good few years now. It’s just a standard hair cutting shop, the kind you see everywhere in Kolkata. We have three chairs, but usually, only two are working at the same time. We do the usual stuff—haircuts, beard trims, and sometimes a head massage if someone asks for it. The shop isn't very large, so when three people are waiting, it feels full. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few old calendars and a small mirror. People come here because it's convenient and we're right on the road. We see a lot of regular faces, people who have lived in Alambazar their whole lives. We start our day early, usually around 8 or 9, and stay open until the market starts to close up. Sometimes the lights flicker when the power is acting up, but we just keep going. It’s a simple life. We don’t take appointments or anything like that. You just come in, wait your turn, and get your hair done. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic outside on D B Road, but that’s just how it is around here. We try to do a decent job every time.
