Surya Marble And Granites is located on the 1st Floor at 121, Chittaranjan Avenue. Being on the first floor makes things a bit tricky when we have to show samples, as we do not have a big ground-level yard right here. We are in an older building on a very famous street. Chittaranjan Avenue is always packed with people and yellow taxis, so it can be quite a struggle just to get to the door some mornings. Our space is more of a place to talk business and look at small pieces of stone rather than a massive warehouse. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down measurements in our notebooks. It feels a bit different being upstairs away from the street level, but you can still hear all the noise from outside. The building has high ceilings and those old-style windows that let in a lot of dust. We have samples of different granites and marbles leaned up against the desks. It is not a very modern office. We have some old wooden cupboards and a lot of paper everywhere. People come to see us when they are planning to renovate their homes. We just sit down, have some water, and look at the options together. It is a slow, personal way of doing things. We have been in this part of the city for years and wouldn't really know where else to go. The stone business is in our blood and we plan to stay here for a long time.
