Subham Gents Saloon

Subham Gents Saloon is located at 55C Tarak Pramanik Road. We are very close to Vivekananda Road in the 700006 area of Kolkata. This part of the city has a lot of history and the buildings are all quite close together. Our shop is on a busy street where there’s always something happening. You’ll find us near the junction. The space inside is narrow but we’ve made the most of it with three chairs and a long shelf for our combs and scissors. We don't have any of that modern music playing, just the sound of the street and maybe a little talk from the customers. It’s a very local atmosphere. People from the nearby tea stalls often come in. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they have a lot of memories attached to them. We know the routines of the neighborhood perfectly. On Sunday mornings, there is usually a queue out the door because everyone wants to look sharp for the week ahead. We don’t use any complicated equipment, just the stuff that has worked for years. It’s a basic, honest place for a haircut. We appreciate everyone who stops by, whether they are new to the area or have lived on Tarak Pramanik Road for decades. It's just a regular shop for regular people. We try to keep it friendly and simple for everyone.
