Subham Exports

You can find Subham Exports on the first floor of number one, Shibralla Street. The stairs are a bit steep and they creak a little when you walk up, but that’s just the character of the building. We’ve been operating out of this space for years. It’s not a very long street, so everyone know where everything is. Being on the first floor means we can look out at the street and see what’s going on, which is a nice break from looking at computer screens all day. The office is pretty simple. We have some shelves for samples and a couple of desks that have been with us since we started. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits our side of the building directly, so the fans are always on full blast. We handle a lot of the export paperwork here, so there are always stacks of documents that need signing or filing. It’s not the most glamorous job, but we take it seriously in our own way. We don't have any fancy receptionists or waiting areas. If someone comes by, they just pull up a chair and we talk. It feels more like a workshop than a formal office most of the time. We just focus on getting the shipments sorted and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. It’s a steady routine that keeps us busy.
