Stores Supply Corporation

We are located on the 4th floor of 40/3 Strand Road. Room 22 is where you’ll find Stores Supply Corporation. It’s an old building, one of those with the high ceilings and the lift that doesn’t always feel 100% reliable. Strand Road is always packed with trucks and people moving goods. It's noisy and dusty, but that's just the area. We supply things. It’s been our business for quite some time now. The office is full of ledgers and stacks of paper. It’s not a modern glass office. We have old desks and chairs that have been around longer than I have. People come by to talk business or pick up orders. We know the other tenants in the building. It’s a community of sorts. Getting up to the 4th floor can be a workout if the lift is busy. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just answer the phone and deal with the supplies. It’s straightforward work. Sometimes it gets stressful when shipments are late. But we manage. The view from the window is just more buildings and the river nearby. It’s a busy part of town. We’ve stayed here because it’s central for the trade. Room 22 is a bit small, but it fits what we need. It’s honest work and we just keep at it every day. We usually close up around six and join the crowd heading home through the busy streets. It is a long walk to the station.
