Sterling Hospital

Located at 55/1 Bhupendra Basu Avenue, Sterling Hospital is right in the heart of Shyambazar. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets with the markets and the buses. Our building blends in with the older structures around here, though we’ve had to do some repairs on the walls lately. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with different departments spread across the floors. The receptionists have a lot of patience because people are always asking for directions. It’s a lively neighborhood, so there’s always something happening right outside our gates. You can hear the shouting of vendors and the horns of the taxis while you’re in the waiting area. We have a mix of old equipment and some newer stuff we brought in recently. The doctors are usually in a hurry, moving from one room to the next. The windows in the patient wards look out over the street, so there’s always a view of the Shyambazar chaos. People from all over this side of town come here because the location is so easy to reach by public transport. It’s not a quiet retreat by any means, but it’s functional and serves the local population well. We keep the floors mopped and the lights bright, even if the building itself shows its age in some corners. It’s a place that never really sleeps because there is always someone needing help.
