Down on Canning Street, at 21D, that is where we stay. Sriprakash Industrials Corporation is tucked into one of those old buildings where the hallways are narrow and the stairs are a bit steep. It is a very busy part of the city, and finding a place to park is almost impossible most days. We have been in this location for years, and we’ve seen businesses come and go around us. Our office is cluttered with samples, old catalogs, and stacks of invoices that seem to grow every week. We don't have any air conditioning in the main storage area, so it gets quite warm in the afternoons. Usually, someone goes out to get tea for everyone around four o'clock. That's a bit of a tradition here. We deal with a lot of different industrial items, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for in the back. We aren't the fastest when it comes to technology, and we still prefer using the landline over mobile phones when we can. Our customers are mostly folks who have been buying from us since my father was running the place. We don't do much on the internet, to be honest. We just open the doors in the morning, sweep the floor, and see what the day brings. It is a simple setup, but it has served us well for a long time. We try to keep things steady and predictable for everyone who comes in.
