Sombhar Boutique

Sombhar Boutique is over on Motilal Gupta Road, specifically at No. 349 in the Jaitala Shakir Bazar area. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of shops tucked away in different corners. Our boutique isn't one of those high-end places with bright spotlights and marble floors. It’s more of a cozy shop where there are rolls of fabric and half-finished projects sitting around on the tables. We spend most of our time at the sewing machines or measuring out patterns. It can get a bit cluttered when we have a lot of orders, but we know where everything is. The people who come in are usually locals from the bazaar or folks who heard about us from a neighbor. We don’t do any big advertising. We just try to make things that fit well and look okay. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of thread or a customer changes their mind halfway through, and we just have to adjust. It’s just how it goes in a small shop like this. The front window gets a bit of dust from the road, so we have to wipe it down more often than we’d like. But it’s a good spot to be. We enjoy being part of the Shakir Bazar community and seeing the same faces walk by every day while we work on our latest pieces. It keeps us busy and connected.
