Our office is situated at 71-B Netaji Subash Road, inside the Gupta Mansion Market. It is one of those old buildings where the corridors are a bit narrow and the stairs are quite steep. We are located in a busy part of the market, so there is always a lot of activity right outside our door. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and stacks of invoices. We handle a lot of wholesale distribution, so the phones are ringing quite often with people asking about stock or prices. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We usually eat our lunch together at the main desk while we talk about the day’s work. The market can be quite loud, with people moving carts and shouting to each other, but once you step inside the office, it’s a bit quieter. We have a small window that looks out over the street, though the view is mostly just the tops of buses and other buildings. We don't go in for fancy decor; the walls have a few old calendars and a clock that’s five minutes fast. It’s a basic setup that allows us to focus on getting the orders processed and sent out to the retailers. We’ve been in Gupta Mansion for a long time now, and we know almost everyone in the building. It’s just how we operate.
