Sita Fax Travel Agent

We have been running Sita Fax Travel Agent for quite a while now over near Deshpriya Park. Our office is at number 1, right behind Hotel Komala Vilas. If you live in this part of South Kolkata, you have probably walked past our door a hundred times while heading toward the park. The name still has the word fax in it, which is a little funny since almost nobody uses those machines anymore, but we just never bothered to change it. We mostly help local people with their travel plans, like booking train tickets or finding a hotel that is not too expensive for a family trip. It is a small shop in Kalighat, and it has a very local, friendly feel to it. People often come in just to chat about their upcoming holidays, and we spend a lot of time on the computer searching for the best routes. Sometimes the internet connection is a bit slow, and we just have to tell the customer to wait a few minutes while we share some tea. It is not a fancy travel agency with those big glossy posters everywhere. We just have a simple desk, a few chairs, and a lot of notebooks filled with details. We know this neighborhood well, and we understand what the people around here are looking for. It is a quiet business for the most part, except during the busy festival seasons. We just try to help out and make sure the bookings are correct.
