We've been at 41, B. B. Ganguly Street for a while now. Bowbazar is a busy place, and Sinhal Trading Co. Pvt. Ltd. fits right in with the noise and the crowds. Dealing with trading means a lot of paperwork and boxes moving in and out. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Most days, you’ll find us just trying to keep things organized. The building here has some character, maybe a bit too much sometimes when the elevator acts up or the stairs feel too long. We handle a variety of items, mostly depending on what’s coming through the supply chain. Being on B. B. Ganguly Street means there is always traffic outside. People stop by, ask questions, and we do what we can to help them out. It's a family-style environment here, even if it says "Pvt. Ltd." on the sign. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the markets. The office isn't much to look at, but it’s where we spend our lives. Trading is just about getting things from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes things go smooth, other times there are delays, but that’s just how it is. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and we all just try to get through the workday. If you're walking through Bowbazar, you might miss our door if you aren't looking for it. That's fine with us, we're usually busy with the ledgers anyway. We just keep at it day after day.
