Shyam Lal & Sons

Shyam Lal & Sons is located at No. 8 Jamunalal Bajaj Street. We are up on the 1st floor. This part of the city is always packed with people and carts moving goods around. It is an old building and the stairs are a bit narrow, but we have been here a long time. We deal with various goods, mostly wholesale stuff. The office is usually piled high with samples and ledgers. We don't have much in the way of decoration. It's a place for work. Most of our days are spent talking to traders and managing our inventory. Since we are on the first floor, we can hear everything going on in the street below, which is just how life is in this market area. We’ve seen many businesses come and go, but we have stayed in this same spot. Our family has been involved in this for generations. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of things are still done the old-fashioned way with paper and pens. It works for us. People know they can come here and get an honest price without a lot of talking. We value the relationships we’ve built with other shopkeepers and suppliers over the years. It’s a busy, noisy life, but it’s what we know. We just focus on getting the orders out and keeping our customers satisfied with what they buy from us. It is a simple way of doing business that seems to work for everyone involved.
