We’re tucked away at No. 12/1 Russa Road East 2nd Lane near 2nd Lane. It’s a quiet little spot near the end of the lane. We spend our days surrounded by things for the home. It’s not a massive warehouse, just a cozy space where we keep our stock. Sometimes people get a bit lost finding the 2nd lane, but once they’re here, they usually stay a while to look around. We handle a variety of items that people need for their houses. It’s mostly practical stuff, nothing too flashy. I spend a lot of my time arranging things so people can actually see what we have. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes because the space is limited. The light comes in nicely in the mornings, which makes the shop feel a bit bigger than it is. We aren't big on sales pitches. If someone asks for something, we show them where it is and tell them what we know about it. Russa Road is a busy part of town, so it’s nice to have this little corner that’s a bit more relaxed. We have a small desk in the back where we handle the bills and orders. It’s a simple setup, run by people who just want to do a good job. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and help whoever walks through the door. It’s a steady way to spend the day and we appreciate the neighbors.
