Alankrita Boutique

Alankrita Boutique is located inside Shreshta Garden at Kali Park, specifically in unit B-402. It is a quiet spot, which we prefer over a noisy main road because it lets us focus on our sewing and designs. Our space is filled with different kinds of fabrics, rolls of thread, and a few machines. It is not always perfectly tidy because we are usually in the middle of a project, so you might see scraps of cloth on the floor or sketches pinned to the walls. We do not have a big storefront with a window. Instead, people usually come to see us because they live nearby in Kali Park or heard about us from a friend. We spend a lot of time checking measurements and making sure the colors match up properly under the morning light that comes through our windows. It is just a couple of us working here, so it feels very personal and calm. We are not interested in being a big fashion house; we just like making clothes that people find comfortable and nice to wear. Sometimes we sit and talk about new patterns over a cup of tea. We do not have a big sign outside or do any real advertising. Most of our work comes from word of mouth, which is fine by us. It is just a small place where we enjoy doing our craft.
