Shree Tilshyan Marble

We set up Shree Tilshyan Marble right on the Tagore Park Main Road, not too far from the Tiljala area. If you know where the Fortis Hospital is, we are basically right across from it, which makes us easy to find even when the traffic is a mess. The shop at Plot Number 938 isn't huge, but we cram as much marble in there as we can. It is mostly me and a couple of guys working here every day. We get a lot of noise from the main road, but you get used to it after a while. Most of the time, we are just moving slabs around or cleaning the dust off the displays so people can see the patterns properly. Dealing with marble is heavy work, and sometimes my back feels it at the end of the day. We don't really do the big corporate sales talk because we are just a local shop trying to make a living. People from around the neighborhood drop in to ask about prices or to see if we have any new colors in. The inventory changes depending on what we can get from the suppliers that month. We try to be honest about which stones are harder to maintain than others. It is a simple business, really. We open up early, drink some tea, and wait for the first truck to arrive. It is nothing fancy, just a regular marble godown where we work hard and hope for a good day.
