Shathi Hair Cutting

Shathi Hair Cutting is on the ground floor over in Gouranga Nagar. We are right in the Vivekananda Pally area of Aswini Nagar. If you are looking for us, we are just opposite the Sunrise Green building, which is a big landmark around here. The shop is quite humble. We have a few chairs and some basic equipment. It is a local place for the local people. Most of our customers are neighbors from the pally. We know their names and how they like their hair done. It is not like those big malls where nobody talks to you. Here, we ask about your family and how things are going at home. The room is small and sometimes it gets a bit stuffy when it’s raining outside and we have to keep the door mostly shut. We have a fan that wobbles a little bit, but it works fine. The mirrors are clear and the scissors are sharp. That is all you really need for this job. We don’t have any fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Sometimes we have a little tea while we wait for the next person to walk in. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here. It’s a steady life in Aswini Nagar. We just keep cutting hair and making sure everyone looks decent enough when they leave the shop.
