Mariam Fashion

Over at No. 53- A Shamsul Huda Road, you will find Mariam Fashion. We have been operating out of this space for quite some time now. It’s a standard setup with racks and tables where we handle the daily workload. The street outside is often quite narrow and crowded, which is typical for this part of town. We spend most of our hours cutting fabric or checking on the machines. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late if there is a lot to finish before the weekend starts. The lighting inside is okay, but we mostly rely on the big windows when the sun is out. We don't really do much in the way of fancy displays or window shopping setups. Most people who come here already know what they want and just drop off their requests. It is a family-oriented vibe, even if we aren't all related. We drink tea together in the afternoons and talk about what needs to be done next. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to that yet. We mostly just spend our time making sure the items we produce are put together correctly. It is a straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We just show up and do the work, day in and day out.
