Shamsia Marbles

Shamsia Marbles is tucked away at 13/2, near Maruti Bagan by the Eastern By Pass. The actual address is on Mahendra Roy Lane, off Govinda Khatick Road. It can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with this part of the city. We have a lot of stone and marble blocks sitting out in the open. It’s a bit of a maze once you get inside the yard. We spend a lot of time moving things around with the crane because there is never enough space. The area around Govinda Khatick Road is always full of activity, and we are just one part of that. We deal with people who are building their homes and need a good piece of marble for their floors or counters. We don't have a salesperson in a suit; you’ll usually find us in our work clothes with some dirt on our hands. It is hard work, and the weather isn't always kind to us out in the yard, but we get it done. People know they can just walk in and look through the inventory. We don't push anyone to buy something they don't want. We just tell them what we have in stock and what the price is. It’s a simple way to run things, and it has worked for us so far. We just keep our heads down and work.
