Seen Saloon Center

Down in Sree Bhumi, you can find Seen Saloon Center along Dakshin Dari Road in the 5 No Ward area. We have been operating out of this small shop for a good while now. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads, but we still get a steady flow of people from the surrounding lanes. The shop itself is nothing out of the ordinary. We have the usual chairs and a few shelves for our combs and razors. It’s a place where men from the neighborhood come to sit down for twenty minutes and get their hair sorted out. We don’t have any big posters or fancy advertisements outside. People just know we are here. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello or check the time. We try to keep a friendly atmosphere, but mostly we just focus on the task at hand. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly, so we are always sweeping it up. It is a simple life, working with our hands and seeing the same faces week after week. When the rain comes down hard, the shop gets a bit damp, but we just carry on. We know exactly how Mr. Das likes his sideburns or how short the young boys' hair needs to be for school. It is just about being a reliable part of the Dakshin Dari community. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a local barber shop.
