Sai Parlour (Gents)

This place is located at 1, Raja Naba Kissen Street. It’s an old part of Kolkata with a lot of history in the buildings. Sai Parlour is just for men, and we’ve been operating out of this single room for some time now. I decided to set up here because the foot traffic is decent. Inside, we have the basic setup with mirrors on the walls and those heavy barber chairs. It’s not very modern, but it gets the job done. I usually handle most of the customers myself, though I have someone helping out when it gets crowded on weekends. We do shaves, hair trims, and head massages. The street outside can get pretty noisy with all the traffic and people walking by. Sometimes it feels like the whole neighborhood passes by the door. I like the routine of opening up early and setting out the tools. It’s a quiet life inside the shop mostly. We don’t do appointments or anything like that, just first come first served. People from around the street know us well. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in for their own adult haircuts. It’s just a normal shop in a busy part of town. There's no big story to it, just a place to get a haircut and maybe hear some local news. We don't have any air conditioning, just fans, but people don't seem to mind much.
