Sai Boutique

I run Sai Boutique from the ground floor of Jyotsna Apartment. We are right on Garia Main Road in the Tentultala area. It’s a very busy road, so there is always traffic and people moving about outside. Being on the ground floor of an apartment building is nice because it feels like part of the community. People living in the building and the neighbors often stop by just to see what’s new. I started this boutique because I wanted a job that kept me close to home. The shop isn't very large, but I try to keep a good variety of things on the shelves. It’s mostly just me here during the day. I do some of the stitching myself and sometimes I have help if there is a lot of work. The Garia Main Road is a good place to be, even if it gets a bit loud with the buses and cars. I like the energy of Tentultala. You don't need an appointment or anything; you can just walk in if the door is open. I keep the shop looking okay, but it’s more about the clothes than the decor. It’s a practical, everyday kind of place. I’ve been in this spot at Jyotsna Apartment for a bit now. Most people find us just by walking down Garia Main Road. It’s an honest little shop. We do our work and hope people like what they find when they visit us.
