Safe Corporation

Safe Corporation is located at 11 Clive Row, specifically in Room No-11A, near the Calcutta GPO. This part of the city is filled with old buildings and narrow corridors. Our office is inside one of those tall, historic structures. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, which happens sometimes. The room itself is small but functional. We have a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of paper. Clive Row is a very busy street with a lot of professional offices and traders. You can hear the trams and the traffic from the window all day long. We’ve been here for many years, and the walls have that old Calcutta look to them. We don't have a modern interior with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a place where we get our work done. Most of our day is spent handling correspondence and managing the records for the corporation. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the street outside. We know the tea seller downstairs and the postman quite well since we're so close to the GPO. We don't really do much to promote ourselves; people usually find us through word of mouth or by looking at the directory in the lobby. It’s a steady pace of life here in Room 11A. We just focus on our tasks and keep things moving. The ceiling fan has been spinning for years and we just keep at it. We close up at six.
