Our office is over at the Karelibaug Industrial Estate, right near the telephone office on Jalaram Marg. Being in Kolkata, we deal with the humidity and the busy streets every single day. The estate itself is always humming with activity. You hear the sounds of other workshops and the movement of goods constantly. We are at unit 102, which is a fairly straightforward space. We’ve got our shelves lined with all sorts of parts and tools. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a lot of decorations. We prefer to keep it practical. Most of our time is spent checking inventory or talking to people who come in looking for something specific. The air in the industrial estate can be a bit heavy, especially in the afternoons, but we have some good fans that keep things moving. We know the other folks in the estate pretty well. We often see the same faces every morning when we arrive. It’s a tight-knit community in a way. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny new furniture. Our desks are old, and the floor has seen better days, but the equipment we work with is what matters. We just keep things running as best as we can without making much of a fuss about it. It is just a normal day of work for us, and we are happy with that routine.
