S. E. Tiles Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd. is located at 25A, Kustia Road. We are right opposite Calcutta Fans, which is a big landmark around here. If you miss that, you’ll probably get lost on the way. We make tiles. It’s a lot of mixing, pressing, and drying. The warehouse is usually full of stacks of different designs. Some are plain, some have patterns, but they’re all just sitting there waiting to go out. The air in the factory is always a bit heavy with dust. We’ve been on Kustia Road for quite a long time. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside. We don't have a fancy showroom. If people want to see what we have, they just walk into the storage area. It’s more practical that way. We aren't a huge corporation with a thousand employees. We’re just a local manufacturer. We focus on getting the tiles out the door. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole day fixing them. It’s just part of the routine. We don't do much advertising. People know where we are. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s honest labor and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just take the orders, make the tiles, and load the trucks. That's how we spend our days here in this part of town.
