We have been at 4, G.C. Avenue for quite a while now. Being on the 4th floor here in Dharamtala means we see a lot of the city's hustle from a bit of a distance, though the noise still reaches us. It is an old building, the kind you find around this part of town, and we deal with minerals and chemicals every single day. Some days are just busy with paperwork, and other days it is all about managing the stocks and making sure things move where they need to go. It’s not a fancy setup. We have desks, some old files, and the phone rings more than you would think. People come in and out, mostly folks we have known for years in the trade. Dharamtala is always crowded, so getting to the office in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the traffic and the people everywhere. But once you are up here on the fourth floor, it is just our usual workspace. We handle the mineral side of things and the chemical supplies without making much of a fuss about it. It is just what we do to keep things running. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too caught up with the work to worry about that. It is just a regular place where we get the job done, day after day, right in the middle of the city's old business district.
